218,000 members now get access to the health app Wellr through their membership in Vision. The collaboration is an important step in Vision's long-term work for sustainable workplaces, where well-being is a natural part of working life.
From March, Vision's members get free access to Wellr's digital health tool, which offers support for preventing ill health, improving lifestyle habits and increasing everyday engagement. This isn't the first time Wellr has partnered with major players – but this collaboration marks something new: a strong union actively stepping in to support its members' health, before problems even arise.
“We're happy to be able to offer this benefit to all our members. Vision's goal is for members to get as much as possible out of their working life. Health, well-being and balance are important both at work and privately, and something our members value highly," says Linda Kaplan, Head of Marketing and Recruitment.
Health should be accessible to everyone
Wellr is no longer a newcomer. Since launching in 2017, the company has grown steadily, and today the platform is used by both small and large organizations across the Nordics. The app is built on a simple idea: preventing ill health (preventive healthcare) is smarter than trying to fix it afterwards.
The key is to create a culture where health and well-being are a natural part of the workplace, not something that comes second once problems already exist.
“We're thrilled to be partnering with Vision. It shows that what we do really matters. Vision is an important voice in working life, and the fact that they're now choosing to invest in preventive health shows both courage and a long-term outlook," says Anders Hamberg, founder of Wellr.
Wellr works as a digital support tool in everyday life. Users start with a number of tests that result in a personal health profile. From there, they get a health plan with concrete, individually tailored exercises and challenges – anything from sleep, stress and recovery to physical activity or quitting tobacco. The most important thing? That it feels fun, accessible – and possible for everyone.
