From June, all employees in Österåker Municipality will have access to Wellr – a digital health tool that makes it easier to strengthen your health, regardless of your role or workplace.
“We are very pleased to start this collaboration with Österåker Municipality. It shows that more people are beginning to see health as a strategic issue, not something that happens on the side. For us, it is important that there is something for everyone – regardless of needs, circumstances or level of motivation,” says Anders Hamberg, one of the founders of Wellr.
A tool that adapts to reality
In the Wellr app, each user gets access to personal challenges and features in several areas: movement, recovery, focus, sleep, screen time and social habits. The platform is built on participation, follow-up and a structure that makes it easier to take small steps towards better everyday health.
Companies and organizations use Wellr in different ways. It can be used as support in performance reviews, as part of team activities, or as a component of leadership development. The goal is always the same – to create a sustainable health culture that lasts over time.
“The hope is that Wellr will contribute to healthy employees and a sense of collegial community. That there is something that feels simple and accessible to everyone – and that in the long run we create better conditions for a sustainable working life,” says Jessica Rasping, HR Partner at Österåker Municipality.
Health that is given space
At Wellr, we share that ambition. We build solutions that work in practice – in different operations, for different roles and people. For us, it’s not about one-off efforts, but about making sure health is part of everyday work. That’s when change happens – when it becomes a natural part of how we work together.
