Mixum is a modern and versatile food producer and an important part of the Greenfood Group, operating in 7 countries. We had a chat with Fredrik Jacobsson, who is the production manager at Mixum.
What made you decide to start using Wellr? We are constantly looking for opportunities to engage our employees and improve health in the company. Wellr was a great complement with an exciting and modern app.
How has it been getting started with Wellr (your first 3 months)? It has gone well. High participation already after a few weeks.
What do you want to get out of the collaboration? Increase the sense of community in the company, get employees involved in joint activities and, of course, gain additional tools to have more healthy employees.
What effect have you seen so far? Since we started with Wellr before Christmas, sick leave in January and February has been at record-low levels. But we have also seen that our employees are speaking a common language around these issues. Possibly the “novelty effect”, but together with some challenges and competitions, we believe it will last.
How has the latest team competition affected the workplace? Positively! Over 70% of employees took part, which meant that several people who normally would not have been active instead went out for walks or chose a healthier lunch.
What will you focus on in terms of employee health in the coming year? More competitions via Wellr and more leisure activities, increased collaboration with FHL, as well as identifying and addressing more physical challenges in the physical work environment.
