Sometimes it doesn’t take more than a few steps to make a difference. One of our customers, Max Matthiessen, decided last autumn to try something as simple as a stair challenge. No workouts, no obligations – just an encouragement to take the stairs instead of the elevator. The result? An average improvement of a full 10% in employees’ health scores. It almost sounds too easy. But that’s exactly the point.
Health doesn’t have to be complicated At Wellr, we believe in making health a natural part of everyday life. That’s why we were especially pleased to see how such a small initiative could make such a big difference. The stair challenge itself was just a starting point. The important thing was creating a sense of community, joy of movement, and motivation.
With the help of our app, employees could track their progress, complete tests, receive personal recommendations and, above all, see their own improvement in black and white. This gave both the individual and the organization concrete proof that they were on the right track.
Engagement is contagious When it’s easy to take part, more people dare to join in. The stair challenge became a topic of conversation during coffee breaks and a natural part of the workday. And that’s exactly what builds a strong health culture: small everyday choices that together make a big difference.
In our health platform, it’s easy to get an overview, understand your own needs, and make sustainable changes at a reasonable pace. Performance doesn’t have to be the focus. It’s enough to have the desire to feel a little better – every day.
That’s the kind of culture we want to help more companies build.
Our stair challenge was recently highlighted by Chef.se – which showcased how simple everyday movement can create noticeable effects in a short time. Naturally, we were especially proud.
