Hyreslandslaget aims to work proactively to prevent ill health among its employees. As part of the company’s efforts, it has chosen to include the health app Wellr in its health program. The app is an important resource for both inspiring and supporting employees in their health development.
Adapted to the business and driving engagement
Over the year, Viktoria, who works as an HR Business Partner at Hyreslandslaget, has chosen to highlight different parts of Wellr as part of the company’s health initiatives. Together with the communications department, specific content from the app has been showcased on several occasions during the year. In some cases, the material has been adapted to better reflect the company’s operations.
One example of this is when the company, inspired by Wellr’s training material, has swapped out certain aids. Instead of water bottles, employees have used tools such as adjustable wrenches and weights that are already available in the workplace. For activity challenges, the company has recorded its own videos to create a personal and engaging tone. These videos have been published both on the intranet and in the company’s social channels to reach a wider audience.
“There is an incredible amount of great content in the Wellr health app. We see it as our responsibility as an employer to inspire and ensure that this information reaches our employees in an accessible and engaging way,” says Viktoria.
Support in rehabilitation
In addition to preventive work, Wellr has proven to be a valuable tool in the company’s rehabilitation processes. Over the past six months, the app has been used as part of the company’s standardized rehabilitation plans. Two concrete examples show how Wellr’s programs, which have included ergonomics, pain management and various training plans, have actively supported employees in their return to work.
Hyreslandslaget’s investment in the Wellr health app demonstrates a long-term and holistic commitment to the well-being of its employees – both in preventive efforts and in rehabilitation.
