At Sofigate, it’s not just the technology that’s evolving quickly – people are also given room to grow. When the company was looking for a new way to promote wellbeing, balance and engagement, they chose Wellr. The result? A stronger sense of community, more health‑promoting habits in everyday life, and a feeling of being part of something bigger.
We sat down with Lotta Ekman, People Experience Senior Manager at Sofigate, to talk about why they chose Wellr and what has happened since.
“For us, it was important to find something that felt right in our gut and aligned with our values – DARE, CARE and GROW,” says Lotta. “With Wellr, we dared to invest in a tool that challenges the traditional view of health, while at the same time showing that we care about our employees’ balance and development.”
Sofigate is the Nordic region’s leading player in Business Technology Transformation and helps organizations succeed with change by bringing together business strategy, technology and the people behind it. With a focus on creating real value, they offer services in transformation management, digital strategy, platform development and competence development. The company has around 800 employees in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Poland and Hungary – and continues to grow rapidly. In Sweden, the team consists of about 100 people.
A complement to what already works
Taking care of employees is nothing new at Sofigate. They offer health insurance via Skandia, wellness allowances, flexible working hours, continuous development and strong leadership. But something was missing – a tool that helps employees take responsibility for their own wellbeing, on their own terms.
“Wellr complements our work. It’s accessible, clear and fits perfectly into our everyday life. We want to work with health as a whole – not just physical exercise, but also recovery, motivation and balance,” says Lotta.
