Your employer must have purchased the service in order for you to be able to access Wellr. On start-up, you’ll receive an activation email sent to your work email address. Click on the link and fill in your details. You have now activated your Wellr account. It would be a good idea to download the Wellr app at this point.
You use the same information you provided when you registered for your Wellr account. Your work email address will be your username and the password will be the one you yourself have chosen. You are required to have an active Wellr account to be able to log in.
You’ve been given access to a code through your employer in order to activate your account on Wellr. Press the “log in” button and then: Register using a code. Then enter the email address you want to use and the code you received from your employer. You’ll shortly receive an activation email at the email address you provided. Click on the link and fill in your details. You have now activated your Wellr account. It would be a good idea to download the Wellr app at this point.
Yes, you can use Wellr both on your computer and in the app. One of the advantages of the app is that it uses an automatic pedometer and you can use the steps in competitions and challenges.
If you have an Android phone (i.e. not an iPhone), we use Google’s account to count your steps. If you want the Wellr app to count your steps automatically, you need to give the Wellr app access to your Google account.
Yes you need to go into the Wellr app for the steps to sync. Wellr retrieves your steps retroactively for the last 7 days.
It may be that you missed to agree to share your data when you first entered the Wellr app. Go to the app’s settings by logging into the app and clicking on the gear in the upper right corner. There you can click on data asset health to enable this. If it doesn’t work, you can always contact us at Wellr and we’ll help you.
It could be that you forgot to give access to your Google account when you first entered the Wellr app. Go to the app’s settings by logging into the app and clicking on the gear in the upper right corner. Click on Settings, then select permissions, select Physical Activity and check allow. On some older Android models, you cannot select permissions. Then we instead recommend that you delete the app and reinstall it again. Be sure to give access to the Google account when you then log in. You can manage the account under the phone’s settings and select Account, click on Google and Sync data in Google Fitness.
The app automatically records your steps. If you perform another type of activity, it is important that you register it under the “register activity” button. Activity then ends up in your activity log and is registered in ongoing challenges and competitions.
If you accidentally entered the wrong activity, you can adjust this by clicking “show activities” on the home page of the app. Then click on the red cross for the activity you want to delete.
Not all activities are approved in all types of challenges / competitions. Read more in the information text of the specific challenge / competition to find out which activities are included.
In many cases it is possible, it depends on which phone you use. In the case of iPhone, the watch must be able to be connected to the health app, in the case of Android, it is required that the watch can be synced to Google fitness. Look under the respective application’s settings in your phone to integrate your smartwatch.
When a challenge is completed, it ends up under completed challenges. To get to the completed challenge:
Click on challenges and then on completed challenges.
Only you can access your activity log. If you participate in a challenge or competition, your fellow competitors will see your activity for that particular competition or challenge.
Only you can view your Wellr profile. Your employer can see statistics at an aggregated level, but in the form of average results.
