What happens when one of Sweden’s most progressive fashion brands combines its competitive spirit with an innovative health app? The result is a global movement where health, community, and brand building come together in a unique way. Through a collaboration with the health app Wellr, J.Lindeberg has engaged its employees in a groundbreaking competition that strengthens both their health and the company’s brand.
A bridge between health and brand J.Lindeberg’s iconic logo, shaped like a bridge, became the inspiration behind the competition The Bridge, which was launched last year. Employees from all over Europe took part digitally in teams to collect health points through physical activity, everyday movement, and wellbeing. The competition is part of the company’s vision to be inclusive and progressive, and it takes employee health to a whole new level.
“The Bridge is not just a competition, it’s a reflection of what we stand for. We want to create a work environment where the team feels energized and connected, just as our brand signals,” says Åsa Giller, Office Manager at J.Lindeberg.
Health that engages and inspires Behind the success is Wellr, a health app that combines gamification and wellbeing. With competitions and a points system, Wellr makes it easy and fun for employees to build long-term healthy habits.
“J.Lindeberg is a brilliant example of how companies can unite their core values with health-promoting activities. It’s about much more than physical activity – community and mental health are at least as important,” says Anders Hamberg, co-founder of Wellr.
Global results and stronger community The results from The Bridge speak for themselves. In addition to increased physical activity, the competition has led to stronger collaboration and a greater sense of belonging among employees.
“It’s been fantastic to see how our team members have engaged. We believe that a strong team starts with individuals who feel well,” says Åsa Giller.
In their first year with Wellr, J.Lindeberg’s employees have achieved impressive results:
