In most areas of a company’s operations, there is a clearly defined current state, e.g. turnover, a clear goal/desired state, e.g. profit targets, and a plan for how to reach that goal.

In most business areas in a company there is a clear current state, e.g. turnover, a clear goal/desired state, e.g. profit targets, and a plan for how to reach that goal.
But when it comes to health, completely different ways of working are usually used, for example:
– Occupational health services, which are important when an employee has become ill or injured.
– Wellness allowances, which you hope employees will first and foremost use, and also that they will use them for the right type of health‑promoting activities.
– Training groups at work, where 10% of employees take part.
– Health checks/blood tests, where you rarely get any follow‑up or action plan.
It is fragmented and is rarely linked to any specific goal. One‑off health‑promotion initiatives are a common phenomenon that seldom lead to any positive outcome in the long term.
Studies show that around 30% of companies’ payroll costs are due to ill health and reduced productivity. Stress‑related sick leave has increased by 233% over the past ten years, and 46% of Swedes in working life have dangerously poor fitness.
Today there are more effective ways of working, and for companies to remain competitive going forward, they need healthy and thriving staff. We have made it easy for companies to work with the right structure in their health efforts.
To do that, you need a current state, a goal, and a plan to reach that goal. At Wellr, we believe that the key to health work is to get down to the individual level. For an employee to be able to change habits and create healthy behaviors, individual responsibility is required. The most important thing a company can do for its employees is to support healthy behaviors and give them the right incentives and tools to create change themselves.
We do this in the following way:
1. Current state analysis – Become aware At Wellr, all employees complete a digital health check, which creates awareness for both the individual and the company.
2. Health goals – The desired state Once you know where you are, you can start mapping out the road to where you want to go. At Wellr, both individuals and the organization get help to work in a goal‑oriented way with health.
