Android – Sync your watch with Wellr

Since 8 May 2023, Wellr has its own step counter for Android phones. This means that Wellr no longer fetches any steps from Google, so it is not possible to connect an activity watch to Wellr at the moment.

I'm taking part in a competition – how do I get my steps in? Your steps are counted when you carry your phone with you. If your watch shows more steps than your phone, you can register the difference manually:

1. Tap “Register activity”. You can do this on the app's home screen or directly in the competition. 2. Choose the activity “Walk (without phone)” 3. Change the unit from minutes to steps 4. Enter your steps.
